Ettore also arranged several unforgettable spur-of-the-moment experiences, including beautiful boat tours and an amazing Sicilian cooking class near Palermo where we learned to prepare traditional Sicilian dishes in the kitchen of a real Sicilian mamma. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
Throughout our vacation, both Ciro and Ettore recommended restaurants and activities, and every single recommendation was exceptional. Their attention to detail, local knowledge, and genuine desire to create a memorable experience made this the best family vacation we’ve ever taken.

We are party of 4, two couples from Texas who wanted to tour part of Sicily the homeland of one the members. Ciro , perfectly arranged all accommodations and drivers/guides. We visited Palermo, the island of Favignana ,Agrigento, Siracusa (Ortigia) and Taormina. The tour was well planned and guided by knowable and very friendly people. Our extended family of 6, ranging in age from 29-71, toured Sicily with Sicily Routes. It was a pleasure to be greeted every morning by Ettore, our guide/driver, who transported us to various sites, ensured we were well fed during the day and comfortable in our accommodations at night.
